although some people say i ducked out of his concert but i had mine scheduled on another day
does he even want the limelight tho? i feel like he’s got a pretty decent following anyway that appreciates what he does.
I love zay but the underdog "could've been" narrative people love to throw on him gotta die. Bro just ain't that and that's perfectly fine tbh
He has the perfect type of fanbase for the music he makes
If he was going the doechii route he’d have to worry about keeping up with the mainstream sound
Cilvia Demo still one of the best and most creative rap albums of all time
Lightning in a bottle type of project

this + bro not tapping back into the reason we all fell in love wit him (folks can "for the vibers" me to death all they want but Zaywop himself says he aint been on the lyrics and this next project he getting back to that) is the reason why it's been a lil slow.
bro said most of THIB was freestyled and listening now you can tell.
Hov/Wayne's worst influence on rap frfr. most cats cannot freestyle an album.

Big facts.
Cilvia Demo is really unique and high level but the apologists really overrated his work afterwards and try to hindsight downplay CD to make a false point.
Most his music after CD is still good, but it's just very basic in comparison.
Same with Mick Jenkins after The Waters, another lightning in the bottle crazy project that was unique and high level, but his stuff afterwards most of it ended really basic. Although most of his music after it is still good overall, just not the heights and the crazy vision of that project. Like Rashad.
An Isaiah that kept on the same path of CD would legit be one of the best Rappers, period.
I know the expectation of what comes after CD f***ed him up and made his mental health really bad tho (and I think the same happened with Mick with Waters), so if it overall makes his health physical and mental better with the way it played out then that is good.
But man, that project was and still is so crazy. So artistic while still being very hip-hop, so unique while still being digestible, crazy ass special production and high level rap skill while still being catchy and understandable.
Amazing point of time.
Lol living in Nashville the week he got signed was so crazy never seen more pissed off local rappers in my life 😂😂😂
Isaiah Rashad really just another testament to TDE’s developmental skills.
He had very clear potential but was no where near as developed as a lot of the people in the Nashville rap scene.
It was a big deal when everybody heard TDE was in town to sign somebody and I promise his name was the last anybody thought of.
idk what any of that s*** means but cilvia demo out now the sun's tirade out now and the house is burning out now. hip-hop

Interesting
Who was poppin during that time?
We ever learn what was up with that whole lawsuit situation and what seemed to be Isaiah

Call me crazy but I swear the suns tirade is better. Cilvia is a better debut tape than most niggas could wish for but tsu is his best album production wise to date, it’s like ye going from college dropout to late registration

I prefer it too. Both are great ofc but something about TST really stuck with me. I still play it throughout the summer every year
