I think it has the most consistent boss fights

Pure amazing fights the entire game

However 2018 and Ragnarok boss fights do have some pretty high highs.

But yeah I’d give it to 3 best overall

I miss the spectacle that GOW boss fights used to be. 2018 has some and Ragnarok I think exceeds at the more dark souls inspired bosses they were going for, but there’s nothing that even comes close to how cool Poseidon was.

Ragnarok boss fights were pretty disappointing to me in terms of spectacle. First Thor fight was pretty solid but the final 2 boss fights were so flat.

Man totally agreed. For them to open gow 3 with Poseidon was epic as hell and really showed a leap in scale. And though every boss wasnt that amazing and epic, they were all phenomenal. Yes even the scorpion

2 upped the ante a lot from the 1st game that chose to go small on 3 bosses, but 3 really just delivered a pantheon smashing spectacle. In regards to what you said, yeah I understand the change they went for with the new games, and they are phenomenal in their own ways. The series had to evolve. But those old times are missed for sure.

Hell yes. Definitely had the best boss variety and creativity.

I do think GoW2 might edge it out a bit but 3 is honestly the strongest out of the trilogies imo

And crazy enough I remember watching or reading some interview about how the last fight with Zeus (gow3) was supposed to be even more epic, involving gaia and all kinda stuff. But they were time constrained and opted for quality over quantity. The right choice.

2010 ps3 era

Uncharted, Little Big Planet, Infamous, Resistance, Killzone's prime, Journey, Ratchet & Clank Future era, Motorstorm, Puppeteer, TLOU, etc. Really felt like PlayStation was expanding on the 1st Party output from the PS2 era

Love 3 but the intro fight in 2018 is PEAK

It definitely worked out The final fight always made me think of what would happen if Sony Santa Monica made a 1st Person esque game
