Time is a healer man. For now just focus all your energy and attention on something that is exclusive to yourself.

Don’t be afraid to be in touch with your emotions though

I dated a girl for over 7 years, she started abusing alcohol while on medication, seemingly out of nowhere.

Found out she cheated on me, and we broke up.

We were on and off again for a few more years trying to make it work, but it didn’t happen.

To say it was HARD would be an absolute understatement.

I know my friends were tired of hearing about me being sad.

I lost nearly 20 lbs in just a few weeks.

My hair was falling out in the shower.

I would randomly start crying throughout the day.

This would last a few months...

But then eventually, I met someone else. It was a total surprise. She was better for me and we were more aligned than my Ex & I were

Also, I went to therapy. Which I recommend to everyone, even if you think you don’t really need it. You probably do.

    And then I got better.

It takes time, but believe me, there is light at the end of the tunnel. As hard as it is to see rn.

    Thanks man

It was a tough few years, glad I made it out & grew. I came out the other end a lot better as a person.

I seriously recommend therapy to everyone

    I wouldn’t say that

There’s bad therapists just like any other profession

Well obviously look for a therapist better suited to you then

What a strange tangent to try and derail a very reasonable and good comment with
