I've been paying attention to which songs have atmos on apple music so far some stuff has been really good to listen to. Kid Cudi MOTM3 and J Cole 4YEO are incredible listens with atmos but Kodak Dying to Live was pretty underwhelming and I prefer Chris Brown's music without atmos. Is there any other good stuff to listen to with atmos?

Tidal Hi-Fi and FLAC makes everything sound great

facts and tidal does have atmos too but i don't have the equipment to take advantage of that and atmos is different than just more data and higher bitrate

Dawn FM’s Dolby Atmos is great. I wasn’t a fan of how After Hours sounded but they got it right with Dawn IMO

I only heard Sick by Earl with it and lowkey hate it, they legit just added some reverb n called it a day

wildest dreams album by majid jordan sounds so airy free i love it with atmos. the the mids are slightly recessed but there's great track separation and soundstage is much bigger

i thought this feature was cool but more times nowadays im just wondering why my audio sounds like weird & tinny and its cus that setting is on without me realising

The Wizrd had an AMAZING Dolby Atmos release but they took it down for some reason :/

So I'm not wrong for turning Dolby/spatial off? It sounds terrible on hip hop albums to me (deep sounds like bass and synths are completely taken away).

On a more embrassing note, I even noticed it sometimes takes vocals out completely. Listen to Notorious Thugs. The intro is completely missing one of the vocal tracks

Cinema by the Marías is the best album I’ve heard with Dolby, it’s engineered really well and it’s amazing

some songs benefit a lot from atmos some songs sound really bad with it. neighborz by j cole for example sounds great with it
