the problem is two fold. both the money hungry studio executives who greenlight this s*** and the consumers who have routinely rewarded lazy nostalgia bait across all mediums are to blame. this doesn't exist if similar things in the past weren't successful, but i'm not debating the capitalist/consumer relationship in a f***ing good burger thread
