the iPhone camera might suffice in most situations but sometimes I’d like something more professional

Looking at the Fujifilm XA3. I’d be nice if you could suggest cameras in the same price category

Also I’d Someone has the XA3 how is it?

    sony rx100 series

This been the undisputed point n shoot king but also equals a matching high price tag, could peep up to M3 for sumn reasonable as the newer versions mostly just improves on video recording

Mirrorless full frame is a great pick cause you get to switch lenses and unlike dslr it not a hassle to lug around

Get some Pentax prime lenses and you'll have yourself a great camera.

The later Pentax cameras use the k mount.

Camera body doesn't, Matter it's all about lenses and focal length.

50mm for general purpose, 85mm for portraits, 35mm/28mm for landscape, cityscape etc

Thanks for the advice. What makes it the best?

It's smooth, well built, quiet, small, looks good and ergonomic.

I had a Petax K1000, the pentax was bigger, heavier, louder, not as ergonomic, built cheaper, and uglier.

The K1000 is a crude student camera, the Minolta XD11 is mid level, the minolta xd11 was co-developed with leica, which explains it's exceptional quality but affordable price.

  • I love my Canon EOS m50

    Extremely versatile
