Stop trying to force "classic" on everything.

Let the music speak for itself.

A lot of the classics that came out back then they didn't have the mindset of "oh we gotta make this s*** a classic so kids on the internet 20 years from now will rave about it on online message boards".

They just made music to the best of their ability and it just so happens that it sounds good today.

Many artists use that as a marketing term to gauge the audience and sway the public into consuming music through a critic lens, thus diluting your experience with said album.

Dre didn't make Chronic with the intent of it being a masterpiece, just good music and good vibes.

Raekwon/RZA/Ghostface made Purple Tape like their lives depended on it and now it's declared one of the greatest rap records of all time.

Nas recorded Ilmmatic in the same vein and it was even rushed, still a masterpiece.

Let music that is just good music live on its own terms and stop thinking about it being a classic.
