I think the fact that I bet no one here will know which 1 of 4 is the best one you're talking about is kinda an indication these tracks have all been very good
Self titled/Demon Days/Plastic Beach/Song Machine all classics
VERY real for including Song Machine . Easily their best post-Plastic Beach project
Really, really digging Orange County
"The hardest thing is to say goodbye to someone you love"
Idk maybe it’s just cuz I’m older but the magics been gone for me since Humanz. Humanz felt like the last “real” project even if it wasn’t great. Feels like the curtains been pulled back too much. And it feels like there’s a definitive Gorillaz sound formula now, which makes each new project not feel as distinctive.

This is the first one for me that feels like it's gonna really recapture the magic, though they've had plenty of great individual tracks post-Humanz. The manic conceptual ambition is a big part of Gorillaz for me and theyve basically forgone that from Humanz until now. Mountain is bringing that back in a big way.
Apparently the version of Orange County that premiered on radio is an alternate mix by Bizarrap different than the official version. And I think I like it more.
orange county/ hardest thing is so good
Shaping out to be the best Gorillaz album since Plastic Beach

Dropping at midnight on streaming
orange country is next level good
Orange County and Damascus are all-time level Gorillaz songs man I’m so happy with those two tracks. Happy Dictator as well is incredible.

damn. i couldnt get into any of the singles but still excited to hear the project in full.
The bass and drums on Delirium takes me right back to Demon Days

My goats did it again man

Definitely a step up from the past decade or so of music from them. I am begging Damon to stop throwing the telephone effect on every song though. It was a cool effect on a few of the earlier songs, but somewhere along the line it's like he thinks every Gorillaz song has to have it. The lush instrumentals are either buried by the vocals or the vocals are buried by the lush instrumentals. Overall, pretty solid. Nothing that stood out like "that's the one" though.
