Calm down
I’m off this whole week and got nothing better to do.
Not sure why people get so worked up over such arbitrary statements like this lol
What do you mean by rapping?
Rapping = bars and wordplay nowadays is just dust bro. Listen to rising voice like Carti, Yeat, Gunna and Juice (rip).
Rap stopped being about "bars" a long time ago and now its next evolution has arrived in the form of "vibe".
You can be spitting your ass off all day but thats not what most consumers are looking for nowadays.
They want something catchy they can work out, ride around or shake ass to

Rappers who can actually rap will never go out of style. Those characteristics aren’t mutually exclusive there are plenty of examples of someone barring out that you can vibe to
Why are you people talking about influence
This doesn’t say “Most Influential Rapper Alive”
It says “Best Rapper Alive”
I read the piece, the key attribute to support the claim is his influence (along with how prolific he is). So I guess they tie into each other.

Weird. I think rapping ability should be what determines the best rapper alive. Maybe I’m old fashioned

It absolutely should be lol. It mentions how Ye called Future "the most influential rapper of the past decade" or something like that in his Drink Champs episode. That's more accurate, IMO.

Nobody actually agrees but good for Future

i think it’s interesting considering how much drake has sold and how many records he’s broken but nobody puts him in the greatest rapper alive convos
I mean, best rapper alive? That’s prob Wayne. But even from within his generation he has to compete with Drake, Kendrick, Cole, Young Thug (might be incorrect to count him in the running but he’s influential), and maybe some others I’m forgetting. I’d say he beats out Thug and Cole easily, and Kendrick and Drake have contenders. Then you have to consider the other rappers alive outside of his gen, like Jay, Kanye, Andre, Nas, Em, whoever else.
Can y’all look at the RAPPING?
Who is future outrapping? Bar for bar?
Against Drake, Kendrick, Cole, Or Tyler?
Benz coup look like a fish with a shark in it
