Reading thru comments online, you'd think this girl was putting the worst music out right now. Sure, it's unremarkable, but damn. Is it really just the "nepo baby" s*** people got against her?

Not at all my type of music but interested to see how well she does commercially so i’ll throw my 2 cents in,

I think absolutely the Nepo baby narrative underpins all the criticism, but it’s worsened by how unremarkable, by-the-numbers, and generic the actual music is - like out of all the female pop acts at the moment, feels like she has the least interesting aesthetic and content in her music

Not helped either by her live performances, i think she’s improved a lot in last year, but her live vocals are underwhelming too

Seen some recent interviews, she acc comes across well and addressed the Nepo stuff in a mature way, so yeah I do feel like the hate is unwarranted, but i think for the reasons above, that is why it’s so pervasive
