Flashing lights alone clears DAMN tenfold

  • Graduation easily has more replay value and timeless

Though DAMN got better traditional hip hop tracks

My pick still goes to Grad

  • Newhouse

only one of these has Can’t Tell Me Nothing…

    CLASSIC

Grad is my 3rd favorite Ye album but the funny thing is that, online, the general consensus is that is'a bottom tier Ye album.

These White kids and hipsters on WestSubEver and Twitter be ranking Ye and KSG over it unironically.

Lmao I assume anyone who ranks a post 2013 album over any of the first 5 became a fan after like Pablo

Can’t even take them niggas seriously unless they legit just young

I've heard DAMN more recently but I'd still choose Graduation lol

Reminds me of Drake Stan’s who think his output from Views and on holds a candle to TC, NWTS, and IYRTITL

I think there's a decent argument to make that Kendrick's discography > Kanye's, especially if you take Kanye's recent run of albums into account to lower the overall batting average, but Graduation way better than Damn

Personally I started listening to him in 2008 with 808s. I listened to his discography backwards. And even back then I gotta say graduation was my “least favorite” and it was for a long time. Honestly I think it’s just because of how polished and clean it sounds. Def the closest ye’s come to “pop rap.” That being said I love it and it’s better than damn for sure.

I mean...this this tricky though because Kanye has way more projects than Kendrick and he's taken more musical risks imho.

I would say Kendrick hasn't missed but Kanye has higher highs if that makes sense, especially if you factor in his collab work like WTT and KSG or his production for albums like Be and Blueprint.

Nothing wrong with that. I was just pointing out how Grad has sorta gotten underrated over time in Kanye fan circles.
