this is been the norm all through cable for almost any network program, even sports #s are crazy down

Golden Globes last week had like a 60% drop in viewers

Thought last night's actual show was the best they've done in years

Yeah watching TV in general is going down. While the pandemic helped streaming numbers I think that will also take a dip once the pandemic is over. However I think sports will recover once people are allowed to be engaged with the team again.

All forms of Entertainment is competing with each other during the pandemic leading to everything entertainment related being in decline

I’m not so sure about streaming, the thing is these entertainment companies are competing with each other. Therefore soon there no longer will be a central place to stream everything. People will have multiple streaming accounts, therefore the cost will be about the same as cable. Then the interest from people will die down.

I think there will be a service that encompasses all of those streaming services but I still think streaming will over take live TV at some point

The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, hosted by comedian Trevor Noah and boasting powerhouse performers Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, BTS, Billie Eilish, Post Malone and Megan Thee Stallion, drew a scant audience for CBS. This year’s telecast was the lowest-rated in Grammys history in the early numbers.
