Dont cheap out or else you will regret it especially with the pedals. I bought a $110 n the wheel was ok, but the pedals had NO feedback or resistance. S*** was a wet noodle with a flimsy base board. Literally unplayable.

Go to the $200 n up range, the sony branded one n thrustmaster ones are the most popular iirc.

    Better than Forza Motorsport.

Its a simulator, so its not arcadey like Forza Horizon (which is a mix of simulation n arcade such as Horizon 5, more serious n mindful than like a NFS or Burnout, but less serious than a Gran Turismo. Theyre called "Sim cades").

My fav racers are Dirt for hardcore Simulators, Gran Turismo for regular Simulators n Forza Horizon for simcades n Crew 2 for straight up acrade-ness.

But yeah, theres four levels in racing games:

    Hardcore Sim

    Regular sim

    SimCade

    Arcade

GT is the best overall imo, but compared to Horizon theyre not the same.

This will be my "homebase" game like how Gran Turismo Sport was for me (before it wayyy overstayed its welcome n burned everyone out lmao).

The game i can always return to & easily hop in no matter what for years.

    Im excited LETS GO

    amazon.com/Thrustmaster-T150-Racing-Wheel-playstation-4/dp/B06XP1JZ53

This is the best PlayStation compatible wheel in the lowest (viable) price range. If you do get this, make sure you get the pro edition. The pedals are much better.

I use the xbox version of this (TMX Pro) for real sim racing and it's great

This game is now coming out on PS4 as well too btw u should put it in the title so more people know @op

Because of the chip shortages & scalping of the PS5, most cant get ahold of it so theyre downgrading graphics for the ports.

Its why most of their big titles have a ps4 port this year & theyre hoping its sorted out by 2023 where "true" next gen can finally begin.

Damn, my favorite aspect of horizon is it’s balance of simulation and arcade. Was hoping for soemthing more arcadey

I think my preferred style of racing is a simcade like Forza Horizon. Still super hyped for this but damn do I wish Forza Horizon 7 was a PlayStation exclusive sometimes lol

Doesn’t. It’s a simulator like mainline Forza in comparison
