Been locked out. Finally was able to make a new account without using a Twitter.
Finally got this game the other day. Having a blast!!! Good beginner vehicle tips? I’m maybe 9-10 menu books in
What do you mean by beginner vehicle?

I guess just good cars towards the start of the game vs cars to avoid.
Etc like the gto civic integra mini cooper type level of cars

Well missions and licensing gives you a specific car you have to drive with. I think menus always give you a specific class of cars you can pick from for that specific menu. Tbh I wouldn’t worry too much about cars to avoid. Just look out for the pp and hp. Tune your cars as well
My god man Vr with this is INCREDIBLE
this is a religious experience in VR, maybe it’s cause I’m new to all of this but holy s*** this is a gamechanger like nigga even something as simple as looking in the rearview mirror seems so damn real
and this is just with using the Dualsense, can’t imagine how it must feel playing this with a rig

I've been enjoying the livery editor, up to 5th on the style popular users
how the hell do y'all play this game. About to finish all the menu books and would like to get into the real s***. Do I just wait for these online races to start and that's how y'all play? Am I suppose to buy parts for every car and increase their PP?

Yes bro daily races are where it’s at. S*** is fun as f***. Also grinding for credits is essential as well

What’s the best way to grind for credits? Is it best to finish menu books first?

I finished all my menus before jumping online or worrying about credits. I do the 30 minute Le Mans race which pays 820k. I’m sure there’s better races to get credits quicker. Credits are essential because online daily races require purchasing the new meta for the week.
Lately I’ve been going back and getting gold on missions and license for the trophy’s.

So then is “renting event car” not a good option assuming you customize and tune your own to fit the requirements?

Renting an event car was added into the game later on during an update. Definitely a good option for sure. I just like to buy the car anyway. Most races online the car is like 500k-1m

Yeah I will like to collect most anyway but out of curiosity, is there an advantage for the races or time trials for those who own? Or does everyone have the same exact tuning no matter what

No advantage it’s all tuned to BoP regulations, but there are certain cars in each group that are much better than the rest on certain tracks. Like last week race b no other car could compete with the Porsche. The only thing owning does is it allows you to use custom liveries

Copy. Thank you. I just bought this so I’m trying to get the hang of things. Good to know it’s best to complete menu before stressing other things. I’m sure there’s plenty of videos on best way to grind money too

Yeah YouTube is filled with them. I haven’t played GT since 5 so I was real rusty. Doing the menus and solo stuff just got me back in the groove. I know I would have been getting destroyed if I hopped straight online
Getting gold on all super license tests is killing me.

yeah I still gotta do international A and super license

I got lucky and flew through international A. But some of these supers are nuts. Stuck on the formula car now
