but given everything, they're probably gonna have hal be John Stewart's Abin Sur. He's gonna die in the first episode give his ring to Hal and then we'll watch the internet clutch its pearls for a week.

Hopefully they'll just copy paste hal's story onto John, cause besides xanshi john doesn't have s*** to do.

I doubt it. For John Stewart’s first two introductions it was always positioned from the standpoint of someone needing to succeed Hal. So you don’t need to make Hal his Abin Sur, he always was that to a certain extent. Except with recons where they make them age mates.
