John's lantern being made from fear is definitely going to be a plot point somewhere and the seeds for the sinsetro corps was planted here

Ok so as a standalone show dealing with the death of Hal Jordan and John becoming a Green Lantern, I really dug this.

HOWEVER

If they won’t front the money to make a cosmic Green Lantern show, give him a movie with a budget.

I’m not mad that we didn’t get a super bombastic finale, because I accepted that was going to be the case a couple episodes ago.
