The family montage at the end where the robots say “this is the first time he’s seeing this” showed he’s gonna make the symbol his own thing imo and do what he wants. Doesn’t seem that weird to me.

I wanted to believe it would land in other ways but in the end you were right . I thought Lindelof would have more control over the show than he did. I cant help but shrug.

we watched 8 hours of a tv show many of us were hyped for especially off the damon lindelof writing it. Its fair we react to the show completing and where the universe may go next. If any character in the DCEU waterboarded someone and they did a 8 hour show with a murder mystery that ended that flat we would critique it too

I think the show could have been successful without a focus on comic books
the writing was just hit or miss throughout the entire show with signs of too many writers

Constructs every episode would not have solved the problems of this show. The budget was mainly used on one or two episodes. splitting it up would have been cool but I just wanted to see him use his powers in unique ways same as the lighter for the cigarette. But some of what you are talking about is jingling keys
this finale was just anticlimatic and a bit too much tell and not show through forced exposition some of which revealed trhough literal torture.
