The show is in the midst of casting the final of its two leads. Kyle Chandler is set to star as the classic and long-running Lantern Jordan. HBO and DC have narrowed down the search for Stewart to Rebel Ridge star Aaron Pierre and The Piano Lesson actor Stephan James. Sources say screen tests with the two happened Thursday and continue into Friday.

Screen testing so possibly a Stewart casting announcement early next week?

For me, my DC knowledge so limited to Batman and Teen Titans I have no idea who’s the better fit but I do like both of them as actors

With that perspective, I kinda hope it’s Stephan only because it feels like Aaron just got his breakout action role and has positioned himself to star in high profile movies with interesting directors while for Stephan this could get more eyes on him and help his career
