Whenever they make dark skin characters lighter in live action I never know how to feel about it because most comic book artists use the same shade for every black character they create, the full spectrum of blackness isn’t represented but there’s also a part of me that feels like John should stay darkskin but it’s not essential like Storm or nun

And tbh Trevante Rhodes is still my no. 1 choice. Dude might pull a Terrence Howard though

Im liking both Aaron Pierre and Damson Idris as John and i could go either way. Both are dope young black actors.

However Josh Brolin as Hal is nasty work. Dude is almost 60. Not really feeling the other choices. They all way too old.

I thought Hal would be 39 to 48 at the latest.
