It’s like being a 3pt specialist that thrives in a team system but instead plays iso ball and tries to drive in half the time; that’s Benny. Yeah he has bars but needs the production and features to make great projects. Every time it’s not Daringer, Al or hitboy, it some random ass producers and artists from bumblefuck. This Def Jam s*** has been pointless

S*** just be feelin like they don’t realize the sound they had and the people backing it is what got them in the limelight and now they just wanna take the lazy superstar rapper route rather than build on the foundation that got them up there. This isn’t even a rant about switching up after you break into the industry (ex; Tyler), and even if that’s the case my point stands that it isn’t working at all. OG fans are let down album after album, and new fans aren’t popping up.

Doing new s*** is cool and all but all the OGs that backed them up early like Prodigy, Method Man, Raekwon saw a spark to reignite that dirty grimey s*** for the CULTURE.

And I get you gotta make money and they wanna do hits now but you they aren’t even making noise with these bland ass tracks. Things are coming and going ever since they stopped dropping classics. F*** the industry cornballs that allowed this.

Gunn, Boldy and Hommy still dropping CLASSICS. Albums that I go back to consistently. Not saying every track is heat on them but still they are memorable and fitting for the Griselda camp discog.

    THIS!

I've been thinking the same thing this whole time and to me this is exactly why Wu-Tang fell off at the time they did when they changed up the science that made them who they were. And I know that Wu-Tang is still an icon these days, but it's based off that first run not off of anything that came after

The worst thing West could've done was fake retire after putting out a bad tape

But I'm hopeful he goes back to the basics

I mean they can’t do that grimy s*** the right way. Dude the beats are wack and they can’t rap. Most of their beats sound the same. Plus they did nothing to push the sound into a new direction. To me it’s just a rehash of old s*** without the quality. And they got the most dumb names at least back then they had cool names.

And they couldn’t pull this s*** if it hit them on their head.

They used to is what I’m saying. I heard them in 2015 and knew they would stay underground solely because of how grimey they were. Never would I imagine Kanye and Travis feats. Have you tapped in on early Griselda tapes? To say they can’t rap is insane, nobody on earth ever said that. They were/are heavy with bars.I’m talking about industry direction and marketing mostly.

“The beats are wack and they can’t rap” like why you itt bro

Mfs be hating like what the hell you coming in this thread to say Griselda not making noise they been here accept it and get over it

Then give me some bars. I didn’t come in here to hate. I came to see if this new tape was cool. But obviously look at them now never meant to last at all. Especially when they just rehash all their s***. I’m not hating they just never did anything new and they were overrated.
