if you are libertybell, you spose to be cool with these dudes or something but you constantly s*** talk most of the material they've released in the past cpl years and tried to tell me quality doesnt matter and not to support them by buying their music on iTunes. The Vinyls and physicals are usually sold out quickly and I cant be assed to buy a big ass collection of anyone's records after my s*** has been stolen several times, Im digital from here on out.

I'm not saying you gotta be a yesman or anything but cmon bruh, at least every project has some great songs, good songs, and some :eh: songs, but even the ones that are mainstream or just eh,, i would take over a lot of these other artists personally.

And I was cool with you at first but you constantly talk s*** and downplay the work ethic of these guys and took lil jabs at my personal opinions and at me so f*** ya tbh.

you cool for the insider info but after that i aint really tryna hear s*** you gotta say

Hey y'all this is random, but here's an (academic) essay I wrote on Griselda and rap ethics, if anyone's interested: https://medium.com/@marcusgarnot/the-prince-of-buffalo-machiavellian-ethics-in-modern-rap-music-c1e0c31cd362

    reading it now

edit: nice read, pretty well written. some nice points and parallels made.

WSG has been my favorite for a while now. When I started listening to Griselda, Conway was my favorite and Benny was the clearly the most polished and most well rounded, but all my friends and people who listened to them all said the same things. They also criticized WSG's voice and said they hated him and said he was trash. I would always counter by saying he may be an acquired taste but i loved him just as much as the others, and he reminds me more of a "boss" type rapper like Birdman if he could actually rap, or moreso Rick Ross,. But as time went on, even my friends started to appreciate Gunn and say he is every bit as good as the other 2.
What I noticed is that WSG always has the lines that get stuck in your head, almost every song he says some s*** that is catchy or a bar that stands out.

When it comes to the business side, he is always trying push the whole thing forward and he isn't afraid to take risks or make mistakes, and so far it has all paid off, it is easy to see that when you see how popular they are becoming. I think Armani Caesar doesn't feel like a good fit for Griselda currently, but I also think she has plenty of room to grow. I can hear the potential in her even if I don't f*** with her songs so much as of right now.

Artistically and culturally, the art stays in the forefront for him and I would like to think that one day, he will own his own clothing company instead of putting out Champion hoodies and the like. He has the mind for it and Virgil behind him, so I can't wait to see where that marriage ends up going down the road. The way he gives back to community and makes sure that Buffalo comes first and becomes a staple and its OWN culture as well as part of THE culture really speaks volumes as well.

All in all, the come up of Griselda as a whole is something straight out of a legend, and the reason why I've backed them since day 1. They've been my favorites for years now and quite personally, I don't listen to much rap besides them as of recently, and I've loved every step of watching them grow and become popular, and WSG is the staple to all of that.

    Benny
    Westside
    Conway

Conway was getting stale for a minute there. He needs to work more, more features, more tapes.

Was losing momentum and LULU is hopefully a course correction

I don't think he necessarily needs more work, but just more quality work. These little EP's and throwaway projects (btw wtf is the point of those if they don't precede something more significant) could easily have been replaced by like 2 or 3 full-fledged full length projects. I will say tho that Lulu is his best work in a minute.
