There’s samples on this one. Unlike the other GrisyShady releases. They’ve taken some time to clear the samples but Conway isn’t wanting to compromise too much. There’s a contemporary artist he’s trying to clear a sample for, and there’s so much personal/introspective content on the album, to where he’s not trying to compromise the sound and have a bunch of WWCD sounding beats.
Also he’s fighting for a couple features such as Anderson Paak.
But overall he’s still saying he’s happy with the process and they’re clearing the samples he wants. It’s just taken a bit longer than anticipated.
A couple people I used to work for are working on the album and say it sounds really dope and to keep the faith.

WSG needs Conway and Benny verses to lift his projects and Conway and Benny needs WSGs vision and ear for prodcution. What made them special was the sound and the crew. If they make solo project with more generic/classic/???whatever sounding beats etc theyre almost 'just another' rapper.
EDIT: Just to clarify, I'm NOT saying they havent dont dope solo stuff.
FKTG is the best Conway project in years and BoP is extremely good for what it is.

Hope this is true. West having no samples on Who Made The Sunshine kinda killed my hype for this
Daringer proved that his solo prod is still amazing on FKTG but I dont wanna hear another Beat Butcha collab ever again. All of those beats sound the same
