Dec 7, 2023I’m a major Hit-Boy fan but something I notice is that he seems to give Benny beats with very weird, sometimes stiff grooves
It’s not really a bad thing, but with beats like Sly Green, Trade It All, Famous, and definitely this new track, I find the drums and bassline kinda awkward to bop to. Like they sound straightforward but parts of the instrumentation are constrasting
It’s not something I’ve heard Hit give any other artist
