MASSIVE step up on the beats from what I’ve heard Craven preview, though I always thought FENR was among his weaker work

There’s one track in particular I’m dying to hear which had a beat very similar to Traditional by Mach-Hommy, but a more dark version. Mike Shabb said it was his favourite when Craven teased it on IG live too

Absolutely not. The beats on there were either too busy or too repetitive or both. Town & Country is a good example. That’s why the best beats on there are Designer D**** and Scrabble, the one’s most evocative of his usual style

Compare the beats on FENR to something like They Live by Ransom or Labou by Mach. Craven’s at his best when he’s not trying to do too much

(Craven is a top 5 current producer of mine for what it’s worth)

Sometimes Craven’s loop selection just isn’t a good sounding sequence but no pun intended is ridiculous. One of my most played songs in a long time
