Benny is extremely one dimensional. My favorite project from him is with 38 Spesh just because at least they trade bars. Westside has been trying to make the same album for years. Same aesthetic. The WCW clips, the spoken word, no chorus, gun adlibs etc. He's the weakest rapper of the group.

Reject 2 is the earliest and most consistent release in their repertoire. Conway is not only the most talented rapper of the three, he's got the feel for music. For structure. FKTG even kicks off with the s*** he's been doing on autopilot and then leaves it in the dust musically. Maybe he can't sing, but he writes better choruses than the other two. He's got better flows. He's got better bars. It's not even that close.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate that Benny can rap his ass off with that flow about a narrow topic. I appreciate Gunn's aesthetic. But Conway is the guy making music a level above.

Neither Benny, Conway, or West could hold a candle to the charisma and starpower Ghost, Meth, Rae, ODB, RZA, and GZA had. Deck even rhymes better than all the members in Griselda.

Conway is my favorite of the 3 but even he pales in comparison next to the best Wu members

? I agree lol. It could be argued Benny is the best technically, but he’s BY FAR the worst artist. But that’s why TT3 was great, because all he had to worry about was actually rapping, and WSG handled the rest.

I don’t disagree that Gunn is repetitive, but Blientele and FLYGOD are both great rap albums imo. I really don’t rate Reject 2 highly except for a few songs here and there.

Benny is Benny. He does one thing really well. Same for Westside. Conway is the most well-rounded of the three and his music shows that. I agree Benny is a killer feature verse. Westside doing those yelling hooks on a song? Fire. Conway gets both of those and gets to structure songs, sequence projects, use features, etc.

He's just got a higher gear than either. He jumped out in front with Reject 2 and he did it again with FKTG.

S***, Reject 1 has some insane flows on it. There's just a different depth to his talent.

WS handled the marketing, production choices, artistic direction, cover, title. All little things that contribute to how it’s received and remembered. That project put Benny on like crazy.

Didn’t know Al did the sequencing—point still stands though, that Benny needs some executive and artistic guidance to create the albums he’s capable of making.

He hasnt put out anything straight trash since Plugs (The BSF tape is his young boys. It definitely couldve been a stronger showing but I looked at it as a quick flip, another way to get a bag). You can ignore most of the feature work hes done and he still has a strong discography.

When Con put out Organized Grime and a few of the other one off projects that weren't up to the bar they had set, I kinda scoffed at it. But I get it.

Even when this Hit-Boy tape does what it does, people will prolly try to give Hit the credit but Benny has been doing this a long time. I dont think you can separate him and say he JUST raps and doesnt play a part in the creative process of his projects.

You right man. I know it sounds like I’m fully discrediting him—he’s a great rapper, and good artist. Just personally wish he’d be more deliberate with his releases/collabs.

I wouldn’t call Wu Tang garbage but both groups have their fair share of songs that sound the same people in here are just choosing to ignore it
