Seriously. Grow one out right now.
If I could one piece of advice to my younger self it would be this. This is the quickest way to gain confidence besides going to the gym and working on your body.
The girls will love it
Your mom will love it
Your dad will envy it
Your friends will marvel at it
DO IT
Terrible advice. A lot of guys have scuffed beards. Rule of thumb is that if you don't get compliments, it ain't for you. And put in the time to groom it or get it groomed obviously.
man shut the f*** up
I can't.. My s***ty ass facial hair sucks. At least I have a baby face and enough for a mustache. But that's about it. Maybe when I am 60 I can do a full on lumberjack beard.

I haven’t seen anyone that looks bad with a beard.

Only if you press hard on your skin or derma roll too often. It actually has health benefits for your skin because it can stimulate more blood flow+ collagen

It's chill bro your skin will be red like the first time you use it but after that its cool, I use it once a week no redness or reactions anymore. It's really helped me with the patchy sections I just to have. If you're worried about messing up skin I'd say get one with a shorter needle length just to be safe, there's length guides you can check to see what you're comfy with and as @op said don't press too hard
