Rockstar went through a complete management overhaul since RDR2. Jamie King didn't even complete production on RDR1. That's a lot of years in between. And he even states in the video to not have any contact with the Houser brothers. (Sam is still president, Dan left )
But thb I also do not see GTA 6 to be as satirical/social commentary as GTA 5. The franchise could use another RDR2 type story experience, since GTA 5 was prolly the least favorite story of all.
