imo, its just better to have a concrete, solid character for story and dialogue wise anyway.

Prob wrote the overarching plot and main points. But specific dialogue / other stuff (in car conversations) prob handed and overlooked by someone else

Dan Houser, 1 of 3 head writers and 1 of 2 executive producers on RDR2, left barely a year ago so it is pretty likely a big part of the script was done.

Lazlow Jones left in August too which is recent, but he has no story writing credits on RDR2.

I feel like GTA 6 will still have quality writing, slightly more worried about the games after GTA 6.

They can write a strong female and male character, that's not a big deal, wouldn't change anything about the quality, would just add more options, which is great.
