Following Vadim M on Twitter. Looks like they just worked their 2013 SA remaster instead of really starting from scratch using the OG game. The game still has glitches the mobile port has.

yea it kinda looks like it uses the same code wrapped in the unreal engine or something. Otherwise it would be really impressive to imitate the original feel of the game from scratch

idk if this is comparable but the bethesda port for classic doom runs in unity but that source port looks exactly the same

Some people don’t know the difference between a remake and a remaster and even though this is clearly marketed as a remaster they expected a full remake….. which would be a waste of rockstars resources if we want GTA 6 in the next 5 years

SA looks pretty decent in gameplay. I'm curious to see how the other two look. I've seen videos but they didn't look as HQ as the SA videos.
