im excited asf lolFR overall it looks pretty new and shiny. And the added detail to the environment and new lightning makes it like a whole new ting.
Yeah the character models look a little goofy but they always did and that’s almost part of the charm of these games.

This entire ordeal has only made me wonder one thing.
How come Rockstar has never seen the potential in making Trilogy universe games and main GTA games too?
I mean look at like how you have Nintendo hard at work on the new Metroid Prime and how they have the new old school 2D as well until then. GTA trilogy formula was only just nailed with San Andreas. Never really got the iterations past SA it deserved.

Just look at Demon's Souls remaster. Incredibly remastered game done through outsourcing. Now we get Demon's Souls and Elden Ring pretty close together with both being really high quality

Guarantee market research shows people mainly give a s*** about Vice City so I thought what they did was pretty brilliant.
They gave the s***ty PS game service GTA 3, the s***tier one, and they gave the good game service, Game Pass, the better one between 3 and SA.
Now you have to buy Vice City either way

POV: you have no idea how rockstar game dev works
Ever since 2010 they switched how they work on their games. Instead of having different teams working on different games, they have their entire studio (thousands of employees) working on one game at a time.
First they made gta 5, then in 2013 they started full dev of RDR2, not gta 6. They just finished that in 2018, 5 years of the whole studio working on the game.
So earliest the started full dev of GTA 6 in late 2018 so it’s been 3 years in development. I know y’all say they are “milking” GTA 5, but they are just having like 20 employees there give you guys something just to hold you over. They are not ignoring gta 6, they are working their f***ing asses off and not being rushed.
Give it another year for a trailer, (year 4 of full development) then 2-3 more years until it actually releases.
As for this. They outsourced this to the old mobile port devs, and personally they did a great job with the lighting / texture work. The character models are iffy, but I think the problem is the animations are the exact same so it just looks weird. But they never marketed this as a remake, just a remaster and that’s exactly what we are getting so I don’t understand why people are so mad really….
