other than rsgl going down the game performed just fine for me. can't speak to performance on consoles or switch as I haven't tried them.
it just doesn't surprise me that a game launched with performance issues but is still "playable"
this. like i hate to bring this cliche out but, just let people enjoy things. im having fun, not really worrying about glitches cant believe how much better san andreas is than i remember

Played San Andreas for a few hours and not one problem or crash. A few texture glitches though.
I dont like the lame ass "checkpoint" system. I die during a multitiered mission and the "checkpoint" is starting me back at the very beginning of the mission, having to drive back to the destination and do the whole thing over like wtf

The rain in GTA 3 is horrid. What in the world were they thinking? You can't see anything.
It doesn't look like realistic rain. It just looks like nails falling down the screen. It is insane they thought it was a good idea. I am honestly blown away.
