To be fair there are cheat codes like that you have to watch for in the originals as well. I definitely remember blowing myself up a number of times in Vice City putting in a cheat because I wasn't paying attention lol

Sega had its fun trying new ideas. We got Unleashed, Colors, and Generations out of it. Some pretty good stuff. Then we got Lost Worlds, Forces, and Boom...and yes I know Boom was licensed out to some random dev but still. It ran with the whole "Play Sonic in an all new way!". We had a nice lil run of Sega trying new stuff, maybe it is time for them to take a step back and experiment with what worked great in the past. They did it with Sonic Mania and that was heat

I would've just hired all the top mods of the community to come work on an Ultimate Edition or something for these games and put it out that way.

At least it would've been made with love and passion.
