lsii doubt it gonna be a rockstar game but if it is it might be gta 4, max payne 3 and rdr since gta sa and bully were already remastered for xbox360
remember that its a remaster not a remake
nah the source says they are remakes in a newer RAGE engine, better looking than GTA 5 but not as nice as RDR 2, thats what the leak said

the point he is making is that s***ty shooting mechanics are as such because of programming limitations at the time, they aren't an 'artistic' decision

Aug 9, 2021FellaThe only thing that’s aged badly and I don’t even believe in art aging is the shooting mechanics. Played all 3 again last year and while the whole of Vice City is my favorite in the series, I gave up on the final mission because it’s damn near impossible on console with that clunky shooting. If new remasters can have more quality of life changes and improve the shooting I’m down for them.
Why you using the machine gun/AR get something with auto lock on and go in, Vice City was always hard tho

gta 4 has a better story than sa and vice city, but i had much more fun in sa and vice city
also rdr1 is easily the best story out of all those games

It would be everybody dream to see the trilogy on RAGE engine, but at the same time i think they would be shooting themselves in the foot depending on the way they would apporach that remake/remaster.
People dont go too harsh on these games, especially GTA 3, because its a 2001 game and the nostalgia helps a little bit on easing some bad stuff from the game when u go play it almost 20 years later.
But if they release the game on some 1:1 s*** just with a newer engine like it happened with demon souls people would be pissed by how small the map is and short GTA 3 and VC campaigns are.
Like imagine someone reaction to cruising a part of the map like this on GTA 5
