Crazy how everyone roasted this when it was announced, seems to be universally loved

To be fair the reveal didn’t make the game seem interesting plus avengers was trash

This game came out really quick after the reveal also.

They were working on this the whole time and nobody knew

It appears the majority of the budget went into development rather than marketing
I’m not complaining though, it’s better that way

Only played like an hour and I'm not feeling it, does it get better? Also why does the camera do that jarring bump when you jump. S*** makes my head hurt lol

Heard don't worry be happy at the start screen and knew this was gonna be fire

I am enjoying the dialogue and characters mostly, it's mainly the gameplay that is kinda eh to me so far

Characters seem p solid for a videogame, just not really enjoying the gameplay

Gameplay is the weakest aspect for sure, but it’s serviceable enough for basic enjoyment imo

If there’s a sequel, they need to focus on making it more engaging for sure

Alright, yeah. This a sleeper hit for sure. I've played up to chapter 4 and dig the f*** out of it so far. Soundtrack is exactly what a guardians game should have.

I have two complaints. Controls feels a little unnatural, by the slightest of margins barely worth mentioning but it takes a couple chapters before you start getting used to it. And the characters repeat the dialogue a bit too much in combat. Some of its a bit Cheesy but it only becomes a negative when they repeat the same lines in a combat scenario.

That's it. And those are two VERY minor complaints. So far this is looking like a solid 9/10 if it gets better from here. The environments are nice af too.

I don't remember the last time I played a team based combat game where the AI was actually helpful. Sometimes it doesn't but when it clicks and the team gets into a rhythm the gameplay is really f***ing good. I remember playing FF15 and them being useless unless i set every single thing up for them
