What's your go to Fuzz pedal and does anyone have any experience with cheap temu pedalboards

I made an eqd tone reaper clone that sounds f***ing awesome, i run it at the start of my chain and can control the fuzz with my guitars volume knob. Love that thing.

Also made an eqd black ash clone, its a bit noisier and less fizzy on the top, doesnt play as well with the guitar volume knob. So i run it after a rat which is a great combo imo, my best mbv dirt i can do.

I dont really like big muffs, theyre alright but i prefer the above.

What kind of timbre/genre are you trying to achieve?

I have a Big Muff. I also always get used stuff it's a way cheaper way.

Behringer makes good stuff too for cheap and I gig with one of their pedals so check them out too

My go to to is a Big Muff. You can get the nano reissues used for cheap.

Also the JHS 3 series fuzz.

For really nasty ripping tones, I've built a clone of a zvex wolly mammoth (jack white "over and over" type sound).

I diy'd my board with stuff from a hardware shop, so i cant say what brands are good etc sorry.

J mascis has a signature big muff if youre not aware

I saw, but that hoe goes for $130. I'm not equipped on cloning, but I know for most of the tracks I love he's just using an overdrive into a big muff into a big ass Marshall.

Keep an eye on reverb etc for a cheap rams head, or find a cheap clone

I bought like 30 pcbs from pcbGuitarMania a few years ago (ive made about half of these, most work, some dont because their circuit designs arent all correct). The components for those i got from a mix of mouser, smallbear, and pedalPartsAustralia.

The only hard thing to find for the reaper was an AC176 transistor. I got mine from tubesAndMore. Shipping is a pain for australia but im sure is better in usa or europe

The initial investment into diy pedals isnt cheap but id never buy another dirt pedal unless it was really special like that chase bliss with motor faders
