forward thing music lmao y’all let white critics come into this space and dictate what’s good

    u niggas are shameful

    Or both are good…

But while i like gunnas album it’s dense to not think that abels album did what it set out to do better

I can name 5-10 atl rap albums better than DS4 that came out in the last 2-3 years

KTT got s*** taste in music nowadays I swear lol niggas care about sale more than actual good forward thinking music. How you really sit here and think Gunna album better than Abel’s. There’s no song on there that’s better than anything on Dawn.

The Weeknd had his breakout year/album in 2015 with BBTM. Less than 7 years later, he's already putting up shaky numbers but y'all are comparing him to Michael Jackson because he's been doing a gimmick trying to sound like him his entire career. Stop it.

Stop comparing the Weeknd to Michael Jackson. He doesn't match up to him in any way and Michael Jackson's career lasted over 4 decades. Abel can't even make it to 10 years before putting up shaky numbers.

MJ only made it a year into his solo career before putting up shaky numbers

@RVI Invincible was considered a flop for MJ standards

It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 363,000 units. In its second week, the album slip to number 3 selling 202,000 copies with a 45%. Invincible also charted at number one on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Albums Chart for four weeks. After eight weeks of release, in December 2001, Invincible was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for the sales of five hundred thousand units. In the same month, the album was certified platinum for the sale of one million units. On January 25, 2002, it was certified two times platinum for the sales of two million units. In the United States, it was 45th best selling album of 2001 selling over 1.56 millions units.
