i know this is an online "community" and everything but it is so bizarre to me when users are mentioned in conversations that they aren't even a part of. or like their threads in different sxns and s*** are brought back up.

i guess because it's usually in a negative way. and i'm just never gonna pay that much attention on here

Drake Stans are some b**** ass niggas point blank lol

    This thread is still going!?

all jokes aside this is what weeknd gets for selling out and going the pop route (no offense to any pop fans)

mans dropped one of the greatest pieces of r&b work ever then completely dipped from the genre all together because he could be more successful in the pop lane....... well that was until someone by the name of Gunna came along

It got so bad people like me aren't even considered "real" fans because we get bullied out for not forcing ourselves to like his new pop s***. I literally listen to Trilogy and Kiss Land religiously but thats not enough. His new stuff attracted a lot of toxic fans so I'm glad they're in shambles because they're a****** elitists

Like seriously where are all the lame ass drake Stans that camp in here constantly popping off jokes? It seems like whenever I post in here s*** gets quiet. Yall don’t wanna debate with a real nigga?

there's literally nothing to debate... mans got outsold by f***ing Gunna

This might make him go back to R&B now that he sees Gunna can outsell his music that’s catered to pop radio

Why does this production sound so bad to me? You guys call starboy and AH 80s pop too but they had songs I actually loved. Something’s different man.

Idk why you keep saying you guys like all Weeknd fans have a singular opinion lol. I love that type of production and I think it suits him well

  • aglow

Yall rock with an album? That's cool. Yall dont? That's cool too.

Using metrics such as sales/"critic" reviews to impact the merit of a work of art is lame af tho.

And I'm not applying this specifically to the artists at hand - just, in general.

There’s an album thread too you can go discuss the music there

But literally how is 80s pop sound safer to make in 2022 when streaming and sales charts are dominated by rap, rnb and modern pop lmao

So it’s 173 pages of clowning of Weeknd Stans right? I’ve been in here and haven’t been mentioned once. I want the smoke where it at?

80s pop music being a risk has to be a joke. No way anyone really calls Dawn "experimental" unless they haven't actually heard experimental before
