this thread is funny cuz the weeknd legit said he made $250 million on his off year Gunna NEVER seen that type of money off shows merch, album sales etc so this whole thread is redundant.
The thread isn’t about how much money they made last year
The thread isn’t about how much money they made last year
if it’s a “sales” thread why is it a problem when I bring up money?
I’m crying bro spent at least an hour going thread to thread, saving posts, cropping them, and putting them on one image to say “come collect your Ls”

You got a source on this because this got me thinking ain't no f***ing artist making 250 million
not even Drake or Ye are bringing in those numbers. That's what Universal or Republic are making quarter profits especially during the pandemic
His f***ing net worth isn't even close to that and someone told you he's making that in his off year? I've never seen Abel himself say this and it sounds sus
now that you started the pocket watching I'm doing it too
I'm thinking about all his streams, deals, royalties, merch, commercials and it still doesn't add up to that. He said with his own money he only had 7 million to use for his Superbowl show if he had 250 million he would've went all out

He seems like the type to invest his money wisely
If he bought some of the popular stocks/crypto in the past year then he probably made a s*** ton of money off that. iirc he had a pretty successfull After Hours nft launch too so that might've made him some money

he literally said this in his song Here We Go Again this boy came into the game owning ALL his MASTERS Not sign under 3 different labels like most artists🥱

Abeltons been looking for anything to grasp as a W for their overlord for a week now. Sad to see.

I doubt he made up to $50M, especially without touring. It was a cool line to sing in a song, but I call cap.

Owning your masters just means you have full control of how your music is used. Yes, you also get a higher royalty percentage as a result but the Weeknd's catalog isn't pulling that much activity. Drake and Taylor Swift pulled more sales/streams from their catalogs and they didn't make that much money. Nobody made up to $50M off music in 2020 or 2021 except they sold their catalog.
I'm used to doing it with rappers because they're the ones who brag about worldly possessions the most in their music but y'all can't honestly believe everything your favorite musicians say in regards to money or things they own. A lot of the time, they're just capping or trying to manifest those things so they say they own it but in truth, they don't.

You can say anything in a song lol. (Not saying he does or doesn’t)
Ross had a checking account with $92 million in it 😂

Imagine caring this much about how much money other artists make
