I don't know what your idea of "risk" is. Drake has taken lots of risks with particular songs he's made. The backlash those songs got upon release was proof of that. He can do whatever he wants.
Abel didn't take a risk with Dawn FM. He just doubled down on the style of music he's been making for the last 2 years.
There's enough variety in Drake's for anyone who cares for it. He doesn't need to make some indie art hoe album to prove himself to anyone.
At the end of the day Drakes biggest fault as an artist is that his album discography is pretty mediocre especially looking post 2015
I think he needs to out time into crafting a well-realized cohesive album that feels honest and genuine instead of feeling like it’s getting pulled in a different direction to cater to a different crowd w each song
If you don’t feel like that’s necessary that’s your opinion but for me I know Drake can make classic albums and it’s frustrating to see him choose to be a “people pleaser” instead
The crazy thing is YSL and XO have a great working and business relationship
Why did they drop on the same day
Abel thought he'd easily outsell Gunna.
Man he’s so happy I love that for him
Thomas ( @Undisclosed ) been real quiet 🤔🤔
He's about to release a statement via Twitlonger.
Give it another 15 or so minutes.
the moaning at the end
I’m about to cry tears of joy
Hope you’re not one of the “i hate mumble rap” lot
no there’s tons of rappers making higher energy music than this. gunna too all over drip harder and dod2. this albums not worth that hype
I don't even see the risk Abel took on Dawn FM. All he did was make a more sonically-concise project that has his best transitions from song to song and even at that, many of the songs have similar beats because of that. How that counts as risk is beyond me but whatever.

I wouldn't even call it risky, but just... unconventional???
Max Martin has co-production on almost every song, they weren't going for risky. I just think the concept of the album doesn't really lead itself to the same conclusion an After Hours.

He took a one month ban

He said he’s taking a break from ktt. I wonder if he saw this coming
