i don't see how anyone can still have this opinion after Baby's 2020 run. he was by far the best out last year

i love Gunna and he's more versatile, but Baby is one of the few new school dudes who can actually SPIT. most of these guys can make good sounding music but they cant actually rap like that

My Turn is such a slog to get through because of how monotonous it ends up getting as you progress through it

i don't think anything you're saying is wrong, but how many new school guys can make tracks like Never Needed No Help, Grace, We Paid, Emotionally Scarred, etc? even if he has legit one flow, can the man not spit?

the only other new school dude i can think of off the top of my head that can spit is Polo G.

i will be the first person to admit that i think Baby's 2020 is overrated, bc My Turn isn't a classic or anything near it. it's barely even a good album, way too much filler. but i can't tell you how many "2020 Baby = 96 Jordan" tweets and s*** like that i saw. the people overwhelmingly declared he was rapper of the year last year, there's really no denying that

i'm not a big Baby fan as my posts itt may indicate, i think he makes a lot of fire songs but he doesn't make the best albums (too much filler) in fact, i actually liked Wunna way more than My Turn.

i stick wit what i said in my first post itt: Gunna more versatile but Baby the better rapper. who makes the better music? that's subjective, depends on you the individual. but i'm not backing down from my take that 2020 proves Baby is bigger than Gunna
