so far ahead > empire
alright
time reveals, be careful what you wish for
every gunna album the same thing happens:
i end up not feeling certain songs on first listen and then they start becoming fire to me
coming here and reviewing an album right after your first time listening to it is going to invariably produce a premature a***ysis
spittin!!!!

fr bro gunna’s music just be hittin different after multiple listens
neck on a yacht
back in the a
on one tonight
those are the hits. regardless of most tracks being boring/repetitive, he got the job done and was able to make some jingles. with gunna’s albums, i’ve realized there are always highlights you needa find through the midst of mid/fillers.
on one tonight, back in the a, still prevail, life's changing and the outro my fav tracks at first listen
pretty solid album considering the beats dilemna hes been going through as of late but i actually think he pulled through with them especially in the second half. songs like one of wun, neck on a yacht, trio, back in the a, still prevail were hard. $$$ and clear my rain sound mad beautiful, he should def push $$$ or clear my rain as a single
Gunna dropping his Die Lit was not on my 2024 bingo card
insane take but i understand the comparison
