Ill talk about how black people have to struggle
Yeah that’ll get em on my side
I wonder if Gunna or his team ever put out a statement saying he was innocent
lol the fact that some of y'all are complaining about literal minutiae instead of the larger issue at hand is insane
He should not have done this
The case is ultimately out of his hands and if whatever they have on them boys to keep them locked up like this is true and it comes out he is going to look bad
i love gunna and praying for his freedom. this struggle will get him to do some hard ass music with his nice vocals
That’s fine, I’m still going to call that corny because that’s what it is
You are the last person who could call a letter from jail corny

What does this even mean? And I didn’t call the letter corny I called it moving on the first page. I called the last line of the letter corny.
What does this post mean?
Nothing against Gunna personally but why is it that we are supposed to care about the conditions they are being placed in currently specifically when this is the reality for millions of people across the country and it’s overlooked every day as if they deserve it? It comes off more like an entitlement that we are supposed to get them out because they are uncomfortable because they make music we like. I don’t wish prison on any man, especially any black man(with blatantly obvious exceptions) and they do deserve humane treatment. But I’m not going to empathize more or less than I do for any other man in those hellish situations. Not sure if what I’m saying makes sense.
youre following narratives without giving it any thought or knowing a thing about the situation
for example: thug is not under normal conditions, hes on isolation (with the excuse of it being for his wellbeing and protection from other inmates)... which is "understandable" but sounds more like a breakdown technique treatment
Your honor mr kitchens is innocent

This is how a lot of gang leaders are treated. This guy I grew up with ended up becoming a shot caller for the Rollins in my city. When he got caught slipping and locked back up this is basically what they did to him. You watch any prison documentary a lot of times leaders are separated from the rest especially pending trial to prevent things like potential witnesses getting hurt. I’m not saying it’s not f***ed up or excusable for
Him to be in inhumane situations x it’s just not a case of Thug getting some unwarranted harsh unfair treatment nobody else gets. My overall point is people shouldn’t be upset it’s just happening to Thug and Gunna. Be upset that it’s a system that goes completely unchecked all across the country subjecting people to inhumane conditions and worsening their mental that needs to be reformed.
Rap twitter is nuts

Classic passive racism from KTT
not seeing this connect here sorry
There’s a blind eye to these situations when it’s a regular person because they are seen as criminals and “deserve it” people empathize with Thug and Gunna in the situation because they like the music and can empathize saying it’s inhumane and they need to be free. It is inhumane treatment but I wish people held these views in general over the prison system vs when it’s happening to someone they like. This all sounds better in my head I’m not wording it the way I truly want to
