album is smooth as f*** but i feel like its missing something honestly (compared to some of his previous work)

dont wanna judge this prematurely right after first listen but im afraid this might be his weakest since drip or drown, but i mean it was never gonna be easy to top ds3 & wunna and even ds4 and dod2

imma keep listening though surely its gonna grow on me as it always does with gunna, this is still a great album and one of the better ones i heard this year

loved the second half of this especially it kept getting better towards the end

ds3 probably always gonna be on top for me even though wunna came really close, both are personal classics to me honestly

might be a bit of nostalgia cause to me it feels like drip season 3 is where it all really really started, it holds a special place in my heart and to be fair wunna is just as amazing if not better - its between these two for his best

then id prolly go with ds4, really enjoyed that one quite a lot too and then drip or drown 2

dod2 probably his most unique work up to date though - very polished sound and its one of those cases where the whole album really feels like the cover art, on some underwater, aquatic vibe s*** lol

i dont wanna rank a gift & a curse yet but its probably gonna be somewhere alongside ds4 and dod2, cant see it ever touchin the first two if im being honest

then its ds2, that tape still got some of his best songs honestly and great highs but there are some songs which are just fine to me and he was still finding his sound back then imo, ds3 is where he really perfected it

dod and drip season on the same level to me probably, a few cool songs on there (cop me a foreign a classic) but nothing that id come back to regularly, dont really enjoy these two as a whole as much as the rest of his work
