i mean i understand the exact scenario you're explaining

but on the other hand that's just a part of the relationship. no one should try to hide parts of what they genuinely like over a woman so if he typically plays metal a lot, she would very likely have known that in committing to be in a relationship with him.

i've experienced women doing this this far more than men also. its not close either in terms of talking about the most useless things, gossip, their own interests, etc... that men cannot get out of. it'd be different if she was just a random girl he was hitting on but nah they're together lol
