I drank Alcohol for that initial rush you would get after downing like 3-4 shots. Like a euphoric happy feeling. The issue is according to research this "opiate like effect" of alcohol onky happens to some people. If you want to test this effect, take ur heart rate before drinking, then take 4 shots fast. Wait 5 mins and measure it again.

If you heart rate is higher you have that gene that causes a opiate response to alcohol. Studies are showing that this is a huge factor for addiction.

Heres the issue. This affect only happens when blood acohol levels are RISING. RISING NOT RISEN. Once your BAL starts to plateu and drop the effect wears off. Takes about 20 mins, and guess what I used to do after?

Take another shot. Feel good for 20 more mins and then repeat until ur black out drunk.
