It almost feels like they feel burdened for having to apologize when they actually hurt your feelings as a man, as if we’re just supposed to take everything with a smile and never be upset.
In reality I don’t even think they care about hurting your feelings as much as it’s about just not wanting you to be mad at them any more.

It’s been my experience. Never before my current gf have I really had a chick care about hurting me emotionally or even apologize for saying something that hurt my feelings. If they did apologize it was temporary and performative.
Not saying everyone is like that but that’s been my consistent experience before my current relationship.
