only just starting to uncover duo boon options which were one of my favourite aspects of the first game, there is so much content here to enjoy. finally got some chaos seeds so im looking forward to f\*\*\*ing around on the surface soon

Does this tie a lot into the first? Curious because I haven’t played the OG since it released, so my recollections are a little vague.

Early game spoilers Cronos has taken over the underworld and imprisoned Hades/Zagreus/Persephone, which is your primary motivation for going after him

I have been almost exclusively using the axe, have made it to cronos a couple times but yet to beat him. When you have the right build going the burst damage is insane, rlly fun weapon to play with overall

Switched from death defiance to strength arcana…holy s***. Absolutely melts everything with the axe

just beat the game with strength build and the axe lol it’s almost too easy, of course I’ll eventually test out more of the weapons and aspects

Yeah my first two (only) surface clears were with that combo, it’s crazy how quickly damage builds up. I wasn’t rlly interacting with the omega system until i started using this weapon and the different combinations you can create are ridiculous

This worth buying a switch 2 for?

Its also on Switch 1. Thats where i got it, and it runs perfectly fine. If you have a Switch 1 already, i don't think its worth getting an entire new console for

I love some of the busted ass combinations you can have, this one was sooo satisfying

experimenting with different combos and aspects is so fun, honestly I love all the weapons, I haven’t gotten a hang of the staff yet but everything else has clicked

What are some that you’ve enjoyed so far? I’ve been using the axe way too much, need to switch it up black coat has been super fun as well

Argent skull aspect of Persephone, fully upgraded is pretty sweet, through your whole run boons will all be randomly upgraded up to lv 6, the skulls work well with several builds but Hephaestus is the best, volcanic strike+grand caldera+chain reaction (duo that requires a hestia boon) and then usually I get a Hera cast for the hitch + look out for expanding cast forget who has that

Lim and oros has a bunch of good aspects, even the default which gives +100% dmg from backstabs. I usually take ares keepsake and get a bunch of his boons and just go crazy. Obviously keepsake allows you to upgrade ares boons so it’s a must

Yeah I love black coat like you said, aspect of nyx is wild you just run into people and damage them then you get like a shadowself that copies all your damage so yeah stack that with some high damage boons and it could be insane, I’m getting the hang of it still though
