I didn't know about it either until I looked through my RYM upcoming feed and saw it. Dan did an interview about the project here: ajc.com/blog/music/ceelo-green-dan-auerbach-discuss-the-authenticity-ceelo-green-thomas-callaway/vLN0cddjfvUTdyljz9UhPI
His production on Ultraviolence was masterful so I'm hoping for something just as good from this.

Can u plz explain what sequence of events has lead u to dislike
Rostam to this degree?
i get all the second album hate but the first two songs on that album were 2 of their best
This is a great summer album. Tons of variety here and HAIM are more than talented enough to pull it off.
I wish they'd release something that encapsulated their unique voice as well as DAG did though. There's two blatant Sheryl Crow rip-offs in Women in Music P III
Los Angeles, Gasoline, I Don't Wanna, FUBT are my highlights

His production pulls from a variety of influences but waters them down into a focused-group version that lacks any soul.
HAIM are talented enough to make a majority of their different sounds land here for the most part though
