Seeing the Harbringer for the first time and her(?) mentioning the Forerunners pulled me all the way in for the story and just boosted my excitement through the roof.

Being that the Forerunner structures on the ring are going to be environments we're gonna be spending hella time inside, it has me hoping we get mentions of Mendicant / Offensive Bias, the Primordial and its imprisonment on the ring, and all the conflicts that took place on Zeta Halo, ages before the Banished and UNSC conflict.

It might be confusing to newcomers and even veterans who dont really have interest in the deeper lore of the series but I think they can find a way to make it work.
