BR was in the campaign trailer (1 min long vid) that came out alongside the gameplay reveal luckily. A lot of those guns were brand new as far as I remember

oh ok i only watched the demo footage they showed during the event. not sure how to feel about all these new guns then 🤔

they look the same as they did in the previous games

the dark and gritty look fits the tone of the game

You don’t think reach’s models standout with their overly done-up appearance?? Lots of textures (like on the elite’s arms with the ridging) and shiny s*** on them, grunts wearing a gas mask with rounded back arch lol

Lots of this can be blamed on Reach’s armor customization tbh they put a lot of flair into the elite models for it

ehhh i guess some were fun to use casually, but they had no place in the game if you played competitively. only added cheese mechanics 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have hope for the weapons tbh At the end of Halo 5’s life they had so many guns (too many tbh) and a lot of them were throwbacks like the H2 battle rifle and Reach’s grenade launcher. I’m hoping it gave them a good scope of what the fans liked vs what they didn’t like.

Though the lack of H5 magnum is concerning af for me. Loved that gun to death.

The aesthetic of dark and gritty doesn’t fit the design of the covenant’s species for me at all. IT’S TECHNICALLY WELL DONE but i do not like it at all personally, it looks muddy & grey in comparison

    THANK YOU

It’s the simplicity of the designs of the covenant and the color that pops that really match with it’s environment and truly really feels like a Halo Game.

I still think the biggest crime ever was how H2A played like H2 in the campaign but f***ing H4 in the multiplayer

i like the extra armors the elites and grunts got tbh the elites come in different ranks/species so i feel like that warrants the extra armors

It’s totally a matter of preference so I feel you 100%. I always felt like there was a fine line that they crossed with Reach’s look but I’m also biased af against that game lol it essentially costed me what could have been a career in gaming as dumb as that sounds

Yeah lol my first MLG event I actually played in was for Reach. almost beat Nickmercs’s team in second round with a last minute team despite them being the #1 team online at the time

The game killed my passion during a primetime for the gaming scene where ppl like Ninja (who was ass) were starting the streaming revolution. I was streaming from h2-h3 for fun but reach didn’t do it for me so I stopped lmao big mistake

Two finished games on engines that the devs have been working with

Vs an 8 minute clip on a new engine from a build a few months back that still needs polishing

h2 br you say? got my attention dude lol nothing more satisfying than hitting someone with a bxr or double shot reeeeeally want to like this game. at least it'll be on game pass so won't have to shell out $60 for it

oh, that's right, they magnum in h5 was somewhat similar to the ce pistol right? this new one in infinite made me think of an improved version of the h2 pistol with the quicker rate of fire

What is 343 supposed to say about some people not liking the aesthetic‘s or visual style they chose for the game ?
